About the project
As for someone who loves to read into the lyrics of songs, the behind the lyrics integration from Genius on Spotify is an easy and fast way to do exactly that. With this project I tried to create a more in-depth version. Instead of showing only a selection of verses and explanations, users can switch to the “lyrics UI” while the song is playing. From there, the interactions are the same as on the Genius website. By clicking on the highlighted parts, a pop-up with the explanation(s) appears.
